The goal of this program is to help encourage, advocate and assist all County employees to live a healthier, longer and more productive life.

The W.E.L.L. program consists of a committee including the Board of Commissioners, department heads and interested employees. The W.E.L.L. committee meets regularly to share wellness idea, programs, presentations and events that would be beneficial to the health and well-being of our fellow County employees. Information from our benefits and health care providers are also discussed and reviewed with the W.E.L.L. committee.

The W.E.L.L. Ambassadors of this program are employees who are interested in serving on the W.E.L.L. committee assisting in wellness events and activities and are the direct link between the committee and their fellow employees to inform, initiate participation and advocate all things healthy….they are the “cheerleaders” within the program. Participating as a W.E.L.L. Ambassador requires approval from your department head.
