Can I mail personal property into the facility for my family members?

 On the website you can go to the sidebar and click on “Inmate Visiting Information” once there scroll to “What a visitor may bring for an inmate”. There you will find what personal property you can mail to inmates.

I want to retrieve my family members' personal property. How do I do this?

On the website you can go to the sidebar and click on “Inmate Visiting Information” once there scroll to “What an inmate may release to a visitor”. There you will find what personal property an inmate can release to family members.

I am an attorney, how do I ensure attorney-client confidentiality?

On the website you can go to the sidebar and click on “Inmate Visiting Information” once there scroll to “Inmate telephone calls”. The third bullet point will explain how an attorney can ensure attorney-client confidentiality.

I am an attorney, I want to visit my client. How do I schedule these visits?

On the website you can go to the sidebar and click on “Inmate Visiting Information '' in the beginning you will see who is permitted for in person visits, when visitation hours are, and who to contact for a visit.

What is the maximum amount of money I can put on my family members books?

There is no limit for money being put on family members' books.

Do I need my family members' inmate ID number? Where can this be found?

You do not need your family members ID number to put money on their books, commissary, telephone, or video visitation account. If you need their inmate ID number, you can click on the side bar that says “Inmate Search”. There you will find a website to help and an email for our records department which you can contact them by.

 Who do I ask regarding my family members medical questions?

Unfortunately the HIPAA Privacy Rule protects personal medical information from being shared without patient authorization. A parent no longer has the right to access their child's medical information once their child has turned 18 without their child's permission.

How do I pay family members bonds?

The bond may be paid at the Clerk of Courts located in the Washington County Court House, through the use of a Bonding Agent or at the Facility after hours. If you need assistance or more information, please call the Facility and ask about making bond arrangements.
